RAYHAN | ETHIOPIA | 100% ARABICA | Berries, Fruit, Cherry
RAYHAN is a single origin from the Sidamo region in ETHIOPIA .
Legend says that it was here, in Ethiopia, that the herder, Kaldi, noticed his goats becoming energetic after consuming strange red berries and who, after trying them himself, shared the secret of coffee with the rest of the world.
What makes this coffee special is that it’s grown in the Sidamo region in Ethiopia, thus considered to be one of the finest in the world. The highlands in this region are at elevations of about 1700 metres above sea level, where coffee grows more slowly, absorbing the soil’s nutrients and becoming more complex in its flavours.
It has complex tasting notes which range from Cherry, Red Berry, Lemon, Black Tea and Caramel
It has the hallmarks of a natural fruity character. It is clean and sweet with a bright acidity and a complexity that sets it apart. A must try for those who enjoy fruity, sweet & bright coffees and a perfect combination with the V60, Chemex, French Press and Moka Pot. Any drip or immersion method can be used to get the most out of this coffee.
