Qahwah | CHAPTER V
Haraz, Yemen · Al-Hutaib Village · Crop 2025
Chapter V marks a defining milestone for Qahwah — our first cultivated – farmed crop from the mountains of Haraz, Yemen.
Grown at 2300 meters above sea level in Areem near Al Hutaib village, this coffee reflects the character of its high-altitude terroir: structured, vibrant, and layered with complexity. Developed in close collaboration with local farmers and community partners, Chapter V represents our commitment to origin, sustainability, and long-term relationships.
In the cup, expect notes of stone fruits, subtle spice, and mild citrus brightness — a profile that expresses both elevation and heritage.
Each batch is roasted in Pakistan with precision and care, in small quantities to preserve freshness and showcase clarity. We recommend brewing as a pour-over at a 16:1 ratio to fully experience its depth and balance.

Chapter V is the result of meaningful partnerships built at the source.
Qahwah works in collaboration with Sukkan-ul-Jibaal (The Mountain Residents) — a community-focused initiative in Yemen dedicated to supporting coffee farmers through financial backing, technical guidance, and sustainable cultivation practices. Their work ensures farmers are empowered with the resources, knowledge, and stability needed to maintain both quality and production standards.
Alongside them, Aqeeq Haraaz Bunn plays a pivotal role in strengthening the global presence of Haraz coffee. With established commercial networks in markets including London, Egypt, India, and Iraq, they help connect Yemen’s mountain-grown coffees to the international stage while preserving authenticity and quality.
Together, this partnership reflects a shared vision:
to honor Yemeni coffee heritage, empower farmers at origin, and create a transparent, full-circle journey from cultivation to cup.
